Our Take

Grey is the natural color of titanium, and on the UTD-8000 it feels exactly right, like the watch isn't pretending to be anything other than what it is. There's no loud color drawing attention away from the engineering. What you're left with is the brushed titanium surface doing what titanium does best: looking refined while being genuinely indestructible. The UltraGlow backlight pops against the grey case in a way it doesn't quite replicate against black, giving it just enough visual interest without sacrificing the understated character that makes this colorway the most wearable of the four.
