Our Take

Blue lands in an interesting middle ground in the UTD-8000 lineup. It has more personality than the black without the full commitment of the Medallion Yellow. It's the colorway that gets noticed without necessarily being the loudest thing in the room. On a digital watch with this much capability, that balance works well. The blue pairs naturally with the aqua-marine UltraGlow backlight in a way that feels cohesive rather than accidental, and the UltraHex-coated titanium case keeps the whole package lighter than it has any right to be at this level of spec.
