Our Take

The Black UTD-8000 is the most serious-looking configuration of an already serious watch. Where the Medallion Yellow makes a statement about personality, the black case and display strip everything back to function. This is a watch that disappears into its job. The UltraHex-coated titanium keeps it featherlight despite how substantial it looks on the wrist, and the blacked-out aesthetic pairs naturally with the aqua-marine UltraGlow backlight in a way that genuinely pops in low light.
