Islander Northport Hi-Beat Automatic Dive Watch with Seafoam Green and White Ripple Dial #ISL-155

Introducing Islanders first hi-beat dive watch, the Islander Northport. Named after a historic maritime village on the North Shore of Long Island, the Northport evokes a feeling of life on the water. Gazing at the dial, you will immediately be captivated by the stunning ripple pattern that has been embossed on the dial-inspired by the Long Island Sound.

The case of the Northport is a very wearable and you will not find any overhang thanks to the use of negative endlinks. Integrating smoothly into the case is a fully brushed bracelet. You will find that not only is the bracelet brushed on the top, but also on the sides. This matches the brushing on the top and sides of the case, including the logo screw down crown.

The seafoam green to white gradient dial has polished silver applied markers which have been generously filled with BGW9 Superluminova for a blue glow in low light conditions. 

Powering the Islander Northport is a Miyota 9015 movement. The movement can be handwound and hacks (seconds hand stops when you set the time) and has a power reserve of about 40 hours.

If you decide to use it as a dive watch, which it is perfectly suitable for thanks to its 200 meters of water resistance, you will use the functional unidirectional 120 click coin-edge ratcheting bezel. The bezel insert is sapphire, which has the same seafoam green and white color scheme, and is luminescent. The sapphire bezel insert will resist scratching, as will the flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal over the dial.

Securing the Northport to your wrist is a solid link, solid endlink bracelet that is easily sized with screws. Lastly, you will find a fully milled 6 position micro-adjust clasp to get that “just-perfect” fit. All Islander watches comes with a 1 year warranty through the manufacturer.
